That is the Honorable Ron Simmons. Mr Simmons served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives and in business before he was in politics

Ron was the co-founder chairman and CEO of Retirement Advisors of America so

they're managing retirement for commercial airline pilots from all the major airlines.

And at the time of the sale of the company in 2019, they were managing over $3 billion in assets later on in his career.

Ron Simmons went on to serve under Greg Abbott as the chairman of the Board of Texas Mutual

Insurance Company. They were managing over 1 billion in annual revenue, so he has a ton of experience. He also serves as an advisor to the CEOs of the Heritage Foundation and Texas Public Policy Foundation.

The other reason you might know Ron is because his daughter is somewhat famous.

She is the host of the Relatable Podcast, and that is the one and only Ali Beth Stucky.

Ron has appeared on her podcast to talk about his new book.

He's also been on with the fine gentleman from Monroe, Louisiana, yes, even Duck Dynasty, who's on there to talk with Phil Robertson.
