I love Passion City Church. I love Louis and Shelley and Brad and Brittany.

I love so many brothers and sisters sitting around this room.

We've had a shaping influence in my life, and it's always an honor to be here.

I've got to tell you a quick story.

The first time, I don't know if you remember this, Louis,

the first time I ever preached at a conference at John Piper's church,

Louis was also there. And I was so intimidated by both of these brothers. I mean, you just got to

understand, like 1998 hearing both of these brothers at Passion just flipped my life totally upside down.

And so I'm at this

conference. First time I've been with John Piper on his kind of home turf and Louie's there.

And so I'm so nervous. Louis was up Friday night and I was up Saturday morning. And I'd been

praying about where to go in God's word. And I believed God was putting three texts on my heart

that we're going to guide what I was supposed to say. So the three texts were Isaiah 6,

Psalm 148, and Romans 1. So I had worked on this sermon that was incorporating all three of those texts.

So I'm sitting there on Friday night, and Louis starts talking.

He says, turn to Isaiah 6.

And I'm like, oh, no.
