You also want to learn how to recognize the voice of the ego.

And make sure you don't just listen to its stories.

And so one practice that's really easy that I love, I call source your beliefs.

And what you'll do is you write out some major categories of your life.

So for example, what it means to be a working woman or what it means to be a mother or a working mother or what it means to be successful.

And then you just, you're going to, you're going to live in the sentence, what my mom said about.

For example, being a working woman. What my dad said about being a working woman.

And you write out the beliefs and you might include, you know, if there was a mentor or a teacher who really influenced you or other figures in your life, maybe you have adoptive parents or whatever, you know, you just list out their beliefs about that particular category.

And it's fascinating because once you write it down on paper, you might see how ludicrous some of the beliefs are.

And when you really look at them on paper, you get to ask yourself, huh, how do I feel in my body when I hold this belief?
