On September 10, 2003, David Moss stood over James Raghani, watching the sleeping teens

chast rise and fall with each breath.

It was so peaceful.

It was until David pulled out a length of rope, at that a small piece of him screamed

in protest, but a louder voice in his head soothed him.

He won't feel anything, it told him, it's now or never.

David crouched by James's head and slipped the rope around his neck, a mixture of adrenaline

and pleasure spread through him as he pulled, watching the fiber dig into the teenager's

skin.

Even the part of him that resisted killing couldn't deny the thrill.
