I'm joined by Arthur Brooks, the head of the American Enterprise Institute,

and one of the most fascinating guys I have found

in the modern political scene writing about and analyzing the world of politics through happiness.

And so Arthur, first of all, you understand there's another book coming out this summer?

That's right.

Tell me a little about that. July 7th, the book coming out called The Conservative Art with Harper Collins.

It's a look at how conservatives cannot just be happier themselves but spread more

happiness around them. The truth of the matter is that you know look why are we in

the movement? I talk to conservatives all the time so to you. Conservatives are not

in the movement to be tax accountants for billionaires.

They actually want to lift people up and they understand that free enterprise and American

strength are the best way to do that for people by the billions.

That is the essence of the conservative heart.

And if we don't actually lead with that man

people are not just not going to vote for Republicans they're not going to feel

what we feel and what drove us into the moment in the first place.

It's kind of enough, I don't know, how have you found CPAC this year?

Because it feels like a weird semi serious,
