The news.

Wall Street Journal reporting in these last days, the Department of Energy has low confidence

in the origin of the virus COVID-19 from a lab leak in Wuhan. This connects with the

low confidence of other voices in the U.S. government and elsewhere about a natural

origin of the COVID-19. We now have a statement by the FBI Director Mr. Ray within these

last hours that the FBI has moderate confidence in a lab leak origin. We welcome Sean Lynn,

former lab director of the Viral Disease Branch of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research,

who has familiarity with this language of confidence, low, moderate, and the necessary

care that intelligence agencies must practice. We're told that the DOE has a source, a fresh

source, separate from the source the FBI has. Sean, this becomes very difficult to sort

out. What is new to you about the DOE statement? The DOE runs the labs in the U.S. and the

FBI restating its moderate confidence. What are you watching for Sean? Good evening to you.

Good evening, John and Gordon. Of course, I'm also looking forward to the release of the

detail of the DOE report. Even though they mentioned they have a more unique fresh source of

evidence, but I haven't seen the detail yet, but I believe the DOE have some national laboratories,

like Laura's National Laboratories. They have other ones, research teams. They probably

have additional information, probably also the second stage of evidence. By using overall,

the new report from DOE as well, Christopher Ray's interview regarding about the origin of the

outbreak emphasized the hysteria, the puzzle, the mysterious thing for the whole world to understand

how did the outbreak started, how did the pandemic started, and the Chinese government did not

collaborate with the international investigation. There was no independent investigation. There's
