COVID response, one month out from the end of the Federal Public Health Emergency

Declaration, which was ended by the Biden administration on May 11th of this year, exactly

1,200 days from the day it started. So we'll be talking about some changes to the CDC,

risk level maps, the so-called unwinding of Medicaid, where hundreds of thousands

of eligible people have already been kicked off of their safety net health insurance over paperwork.

And we'll check in on the slow drift towards the total privatization of the COVID response.

You know, we'll be looking at specifically some examples of how that is materially playing

out for people. But first, this episode comes out on Thursday, June 8th, which means that tomorrow,

hospital onset COVID-19 in the hospital-acquired condition reduction
