Well, it's the end of term in Westminster, but certainly no end in sight to the COVID pandemic.

This week we'll be looking at the government's COVID gamble.

As infections and deaths continue to rise, the Prime Minister went ahead and lifted all remaining

restrictions in England, except, of course, when it comes to vaccine passports, which are now

on the agenda and also continuing pressure to complete the vaccination program, will also look

at another issue which strangely when it comes

to funding may actually overlap on the fight against coronavirus, a possibility of raising

national insurance to pay for social care reform.

Let's start with COVID and a little bit of embarrassment from the government when it was revealed that the health secretary had tested positive and worse he'd been in recent contact with the Prime Minister and the Chancellor.

At first, it looked as if Boris Johnson was going to try and dodge so-called self-isolation,

as Michael Gove had done previously.
