This is the Tom Hartman program.

There's a new study out at Columbia University.

It is explicitly laying the deaths of tens of thousands of Americans, arguably over 100,000

Americans, at the feet of the Republican Party and Donald Trump.

They compared the United States to a bunch of other countries, developed countries and pointed

out how we lack in the United States.

Unlike every other, you know, it's just like there's 34 nations in the organization

for economic cooperation and development, the OECD.

That's like the 34 richest countries in the world.

And the poorest of them is Costa Rica.

So that's a pretty good spread, right?

It's from all the fancy, fancy countries who have trillion dollar budgets all the way

down to Costa Rica.

These 34 developed countries in the world.

Out of those 34 developed countries in the world, only one doesn't have a national healthcare

system.

That's the United States.

Only one.

And so anyhow, they compared us to nine other OECD countries.

And what they found, this is an actual quote from the study, quote, if the U.S. had followed

Canadian policies and protocols, there would have been only 85,000 U.S. deaths making more

than 132,500 American deaths avoidable.
