I'm your host, Holly Blanc Moses, the mom psychologist who gets it.

Hi, everyone. I just wanted to pop in and say, you are not alone in this. Everything is harder now. It was already hard.

0:25.8

And then we add COVID-19. So as you are balancing all of these things work and online schooling

0:35.7

for your differently wired child, how do you figure all of this out? How do you

0:42.2

make the schedule and try to meet everyone's expectations? You can't because it's not possible.

0:51.1

It's not. You're only human just like me. You can't do everything. That doesn't make you less. That makes you real. And you don't have to pretend to have it all together. Just be honest with yourself and gentle with yourself because you just need to get through the next moment.

1:49.8

worksheet done and I should have gotten this work done for my regular job. You can't be all things

1:56.9

all the time. You can't be the teacher and the employer and the employee. You can't do it all at

2:03.7

once. And that's okay. What would it be like if it was okay? What if you accepted that you

2:11.7

couldn't do it all? That sounds like a lot of peace to me. To be okay with it, to accept that you are human. What a

2:21.3

beautiful thing. And if it takes dealing with the coronavirus to finally get there, then let's use

2:29.4

this as an opportunity for learning. So I want you to think about prioritizing for your family. Now,

2:36.6

this doesn't mean that every family is the same because it's not. Whether you have a child
