Welcome, Raven Woods. I'm really so happy to be talking to you today.

We're going to talk about the four top IEP strategies, things you need to know for the coronavirus, because it is just such a strange time that we're going through this right now.

So Raven, tell us a little bit about you.

Well, I am the CEO and founder of Autism Mama Rocks, the IEP, and I help parents gain the knowledge and the confidence to become the CEO of

their IEP meeting. And just recently, I've created a step-by-step course from beginning to end,

helping parents navigate the process of

PPPN, which is plan, prepare, present, persuade, and negotiate. So it's really walking them

through the process. And once they understand the process, then it's a rinse and repeat and

practice makes perfect. So that's what I do. I love that

because IEPs, as we all know, both my boys have IEPs as well. I know your daughter does.

Yes. And it is, it's really can be so stressful for parents and teachers and even, you know,

therapists too. We try to, we have to look at all of the

pieces when we're working with our patients. We have to understand how their IEPs are

supporting them too. So really everybody needs to be knowledgeable about this. Right. And right now,

like I was speaking to the coronavirus. This is all, oh, not only was it already hard with IEPs,

but now it's a whole other layer of hard. Right. So I'm glad we're talking about this.

So the first thing we need to know is the communication part.

And it's so important.

We've got to be communicating with the teachers.
