Welcome to another edition of the NFL fantasy football podcast.

It's me.

My name G. Marcus Grant, socially distancing away from the Fantasy Hall of Famer Michael Fabiano. And, uh, fans, I know we usually start with some sort of like weird happy chat kind of thing. Um, that feels weird doing that today. Um, uh, I know for people who listen to this show regularly, you probably have our schedule down.

We usually do shows on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a couple times a week. It's obviously Wednesday now.

This is, just to let you know, this is our show for the week. We're not going to have a second show this week. It was a thing that we

sort of discussed amongst ourselves. Obviously, to say this has been a tumultuous week is a grand

understatement that there are things obviously going on in the country and in the world

that are certainly way larger than all of us.

I know it has been for a lot of people a really difficult week.

So we sort of had the conversation about understanding that fantasy football for a lot of people is a distraction,

is a way to take your mind off of a lot of

the really unpleasant, ugly things that are going on out there. But at the same time, we also

felt like there are times when it's better for us to maybe just shut the hell up and let some

other conversations happen. But having said all that, we all still work for the National

Football League.

We still do have a job.

We still wanted to get something out because if for the next 20, 30 minutes, this does help take your mind off of some of the ugliness in the world. Then we've provided a service.

So that's pretty much all I have to say about it.
