The drag entertainer Shane Genick, better known to the world as Courtney Act, has lived a remarkable life, and she's just getting started.

A frontrunner on season six of R RuPaul's drag race, Courtney's season included

many memorable people and moments that became a huge part of queer culture.

But it wasn't all fun, glitter, and games. The show had issues with its lack of trans-representation,

which put Courtney in the awkward situation of getting blocked by host Rupal

on Twitter for speaking out against the silent band.

Ironically, today gender is more fluid than ever, and it feels like all the contestants

on drag race are either trans or non-binary.

Today, Australian Sensation Courtney Act joins us to give us the inside scoop of writing her new book, Cotton and the Act, a memoir by Courtney Act.
