This episode is centered around a truly amazing woman.

This lady is a wonderful example of some of the characteristics we see in Jesus.

Have you ever met and spent time with someone who reminds you of Jesus with their patience and

kindness and love and forgiveness and joy?

You know, I grew up hearing stories about Corey Tenboom.

When my dad was younger, he had the great privilege of meeting her in person when she came to

speak at a church where he worked as a maintenance man. My dad, a tall, weathered ex-marine

with a deep love for history and God told me in detail of the little white haired lady

who had brought tears to every eye in the church, including his. He said that he stood mesmerized

as her soft voice carried through the sanctuary where she spoke.

The story she told that night will be forever burned in my mind and heart.

In past episodes, I have told you numerous stories centered around World War II.
