Good afternoon from Washington, I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast.

As we debuted last month, we have five counties we've identified in five swing states for

2020.

That range and diversity that are essentially different types of swing voters in this

selection.

So for these five counties or counties that we are going to be checking in with from time

to time on various hot button topics are five counties to remind you there's my home

county of Miami-Dade Florida.

A place that we want to look at the diverse Hispanic electorate there that there is a slice

of the Latino vote there that will be a swing vote.

There is Milwaukee County where we want to see African Americans who swung between

voting and not voting.

That's a different type of swing voter, but that is a swing voting group we are tracking.

There is Beaver County again, this is a swing voter group of Trump supporters, people

who didn't vote for a long time suddenly Trump made them voters again.

These are people that swing between voting and not voting.

It's a strong Trump county, but there are swing voters in that county, different type

of swing voters.

There's Maricopa, the largest suburban America in Phoenix, Arizona.

Honestly, it's simply because we can call a state a county.

No, Arizona is suburban America.
