retirement series. Now, this series was designed to say that if you

really want to know that if you're retired, you should be able to answer yes to four distinct

questions. The first question was, do I have enough money? The second question is, have I had enough

work? The third question was, do I know what I will do when I retire? And today we're going to

What you'll notice is only the first question had anything to do with finances. So often people

have this vision of retirement what they think it's going to be like and they think the only thing

holding the back is the financial side of things of have I saved enough money. Have I put enough

into my 401k? Is my pension high enough? Have I maxed out my social

security? And that's always very important. That's a focus of a lot of the planning I do with clients.

But what people don't anticipate is the softer side of things, the expectations, the things that

they think they're going to get at a retirement that sometimes happen and sometimes they don't.
