Hey, girlfriends. Welcome to another episode of the Girlfriends podcast.

I'm really glad that you're here.

I'm glad you're spending a little more time with me here this week.

How are you?

How was your weekend?

Here it was freezing and wet, but that did not stop us from spending most of it outdoors because of

flag football. We had it both days this weekend and Saturday. Honestly, I mean, flag football is one

of those sports like soccer. Years ago, we did a brief affair with soccer our kids never really got into it

and i was glad to give that sport up because i was astonished that they never ever cancel it

because of weather like it doesn't matter what's going on with baseball at least if there's a

full-on downpour you you're rained out, you know.

But not so with soccer and not so with flag football.

And there is nothing quite like a cold, wet New England rain like in the fall.

It is just bone-chilling.

So that's what we were doing on Saturday, which the boys had fun,

but they were soaked. And, you know, I realized, you know, we're talking about counting your blessings.

And I really needed to do that. I needed to count my blessings as I'm standing out there.
