Summary
Once a lavish retreat for society’s elite, the sprawling estate was eventually transformed into a counseling center for at-risk youth. In this sanctuary, hope and healing were supposed to take root. Yet, paranormal investigator James Koppert says the building itself seems determined to sabotage every good intention. Counselors report doors that lock on their own, children speak of “the dark man in the corner,” and sudden cold spots freeze therapy sessions in mid-sentence. Just how many spirits linger in these halls—and why do they push visitors toward despair instead of recovery? On this classic episode of The Grave Talks, James reveals his spine-chilling tally and explains why some places never let go of their darker history. This is Part Two of our conversation.
