Summary

The Lakers' fourteenth roster spot remains in flux, and according to multiple reports, could be earmarked for free agent Christian Wood, a talented but highly polarizing journeyman forward/center. Why does he rub some folks the wrong way? Because other than scoring, which he's admittedly quite good at, he doesn't seem dedicated to much else, especially defense. How hard would it be to change this? Well, according to an NBA source who spoke to Dan Woike (LA Times), “If LeBron [James] can get [Wood] to toe the line, it cements LeBron as the greatest player of all time... That's how hard it is." Oh my... But according to Woike, that doesn't necessarily mean the Lakers wouldn't give this project a go, anyway. He joined Locked on Lakers to discuss the Lakers' internal split on signing Wood, along with the many pros and cons on either side of the argument.
