I mean, he Goodman, as we continue to look at Christopher Nolan's new film, Oppenheimer,

about the man credited with creating the Atomic Bomb.

Jay Robert Oppenheimer, in his own words, describing his feeling as the first nuclear

explosion in history lit up the Trinity Blast site in New Mexico on July 16, 1945.

The New World would not be the same.

Two people laughed.

Two people cried.

Most people were silent.

I remember it, the line from Hindu Scripture, the Bhagavad Gita, Vishnu, is trying to persuade

the Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form

and says, now I am the come death, the destroyer of worlds.

I suppose we all thought that only our mother.

That's Jay Robert Oppenheimer himself, still with us, Greg Mitchell, documentary filmmaker,

author of numerous books, including the beginning or the end, how Hollywood and America

learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.

Greg was editor of Nuclear Times Magazine in the 80s, has written extensively about

her Oshaman Nagasaki Atomic Bombings, his most recent piece for the Los Angeles Times.

Oppenheimer is here as Hollywood's still afraid of the truth about the Atomic Bomb.
