I think that feels like a nice package there. Yeah. Wow. Look at those phones light up. It's Selger and Mad. Somebody on the Sports Hub. What would you expect to happen now with Jalen Brown? Again, the baseline we have to remember this is that the Celtics made him available because they did not believe they were good enough. They aren't like saying, well, we really loved Janus. They were like, our team isn't good enough. So they are now going to look and see if they can make a move. By the way, there were other bidders for Janus that didn't make the final two. And those bidders will now turn their attention to Jalen Brown, I suspect. I believe in my conversations, all my talks with the whole league yesterday, Greenie, were about this.

Yeah.

Okay? About the Jalen Brown. What's going to happen if they don't have Boston? Which are these four, five, six, eight teams that could make a bid for him? And that's what we're going to hear about. The Celtics knew what was going to happen here. They are not stupid. They are experienced. They knew what's going to happen. They have backup plans.

But what Shams mentioned is important.

In mid-July, he becomes extension eligible. He has three years left on his deal. He is turning 30. It's not necessarily the time to add $100 million to his contract. Even if everything was glorious and wonderful with Jalen Brown, and they said to him, hey, we're not going to extend you. That was probably going to be a problem. And that probably computed into their thinking. So my guess is, even if Yannis wasn't available, I swear, I think that Jalen Brown might be on the block this year. So I think Jalen Brown is probably, not for sure, probably going to be elsewhere when the season opened. And that's Horse this morning. A previous cut, he said bidding war.

I just, if there are teams lined up for Jalen Brown

and there's going to be a bidding war for Jalen Brown,

if that really is the case,

then the bucks would have deemed your offer more valuable

because then they could flip Brown

and be the auctioneer for the bidding war.

Something tells me there's not a bidding war for Jalen Brown,

and I wonder if part of the reason is what Windhorst mentioned in there,

and we spent a lot of time on last week, and I think it underlies a lot of this,

the money and the contract, and does he want a contract,

and who wants to be on the hook now for five years for Jalen Brown, but that's what he's expecting. And so anywhere

he goes, he's going to want that extent or like, it's just somewhere in there in the calculus,

even though it doesn't have to be. He's got three years left, but it just is. So I'm just

dubious that there's now a bidding war for Jalen Brown.
