They twisted and turned on this, obviously, for days if not longer. you can tell that this was a hard decision to make different opinions in different parts of the organization. Ultimately, I believe they felt if they traded for Jalen Brown, they would have a similar situation, a star player without a good enough team to put around him. That and Brian Winhorse, if they flip Jalen Brown, they wouldn't get the draft pick call that they just got from Miami.

I mean, that's just common sense.

And why do you think no third team is involved?

Because if the Bucks could flip Jalen Brown for the unprotected picks they just got from Miami,

they would have taken that trade, you know, or gotten better then.

He's not deemed to have that value around the league.

Because we here overrate him. And so now you are going to try and flip him.

And the league just sort of told you you're not going to get a superstar return for him because he's not deemed a superstar

value with that contract, I guess. So that to me is just sort of the underlying calculus of what

happened in the last 24 hours. It's a good way to look at it because, look, I think at the end of the day, you know,

to me, the star players in that league command attention.
