Three minutes after ten is the time. A very good morning indeed to you. I don't know how long we will spend just basking in the afterglow of last night's events at Wembley. But my goodness me, I was so surprisingly emotional. Well, not surprisingly. You knew it was going to be emotional. But it's a weird one, isn't it? I heard David Badele talking elsewhere this morning.

I love the way that he's becoming a national treasure now.

And you think of the breadth of the work that he's done, you know.

The guy that founded Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales, was on Twitter this morning saying that he googled this song.

He knows David Bidil through his sort of book about anti-Semitism and his Twitter activity and all of his sort of latter career stuff. And he googled randomly. Where does this flipping song come from? Because he's American. This song, Three Lines on a Show, what's that all about? And he had to do a double take. It was a really charming little tweet. He had to do a double take for thinking, what, that's the same. David Badele wrote the three lines on his shirt song, along with,

of course, Ian Brody and Frank Skinner. And I just thought, wow, imagine looking back on a career

like that where you've done, you've written a song that is absolutely tattooed across the

consciousness of the nation and assumes a new epic emotional weight at times like this.

But also, you're one of the best comedians of your generation and one of the most effective and respected enemies of anti-Semitism

and, of course, broader issues of racism and discrimination.

Fantastic.

And speaking of racism and discrimination, we will today resist all urges because we're better

than that.

To mention after this original observation, we will not be talking about all of the people

that began this tournament, either

booing their own players or defending the booing of their own players before a ball had been

kicked. And we will not be mentioning the Conservative MP, I think it's singular, or there may

have been more, who insisted at the beginning of the tournament that he wouldn't be watching

any matches at all because of players insisting on protesting briefly before each match against racism.

So, you know, let's just enjoy the moment, enjoy the game, and resist the urge to mock the Muppets.
