Hey, good morning. It is Saturday, December the 6th. In selecting people to staff his second

administration at the highest levels, Donald Trump prioritized fealty and showmanship over experience and skill.

It's a decision that's not aging well.

Since returning to office 10 months ago,

several top administration officials hand-picked by Trump

have caused the White House a lot of headaches and a lot of embarrassment.

They've been the source of one scandal after another,

ranging from petty problems to the downright deadly,

and they've raised questions about their competence to do the jobs

they were hired to do. Case in point, FBI director Cash Patel, he's been under fire for weeks now

for allegedly misusing taxpayer-funded government resources for personal reasons in several instances.

Just yesterday, MS now broke the story that Patel had ordered FBI agents to escort his girlfriend's allegedly

drunk friend home after a night of drinking in Nashville, according to three separate sources.

Now, we're not talking about personal bodyguards hired out from a private firm.

We're talking about highly trained FBI agents who are being directed to act as Uber

drivers for private citizens at the behest of the FBI

director's girlfriend. It's allegedly happened at least twice. The agents initially objected,

but MS Now reports, quote, Patel insisted they do as Alexis Wilkins, Patel's girlfriend, requested,

and in one case, called the leader of Wil' security detail and yelled at him to do so.

An FBI spokesperson denies the claims telling MS now, quote,

this is made up and did not happen.
