| 1:18.0 | and brought up in South India and I was born and brought up in Texas in America. But we |
| 1:23.9 | had this kind of like robust Indian community, South Indian community around us and wellness. |
| 1:30.6 | You know, it's an ancient kind of area of interest and India has contributed a lot to wellness |
| 1:39.4 | culture, to modern wellness culture. So like growing up, it was like we had a preview in a way |
| 1:45.1 | of what would happen in America because a lot of the things that happened in my house ended up |
| 1:49.8 | becoming very popular in like mainstream wellness culture today. We had turmeric in all of our |
| 1:56.7 | meals growing up. Like my dad was very methodical about the spices he would use in cooking. |
| 2:01.8 | And so I always had this sense that everything mattered, you know, every little thing that the |
| 2:07.2 | foods you eat, the ideas you put inside of yourself mattered in terms of how you felt and behaved |
| 2:14.4 | and what constituted who you were in the world. So I was always interested in wellness. I would say |
| 2:19.7 | from a very holistic perspective. And then as I became more of an adult, I got way more interested |
| 2:29.3 | in like hardcore exercise. I got really into running, I got really into like drinking water, |
| 2:37.7 | all the sort of high intensity wellness culture where it's like you're always training for a marathon |
| 2:44.2 | or something, even if you're not going to run one. For most of my mid to late 20s, I really embraced |
