And the numbers make it at least seem somewhat or even very different from a month ago.

The daily rate of new COVID-19 cases in the U.S. has almost halved.

And while we're still inching toward the very grim, may I say, creepy milestone of half a million deaths.

The daily rate of new deaths has been decreasing lately as well.

Obviously we can't attribute all of that to President Biden's actions.

But intuitively it sure seems like his policies and the new people he's put in place have had some effect.

I mean, don't we think?
