Summary

Tasneem recently graduated from university. Like everyone else, her future is on hold because of coronavirus. But for Tasneem it is a particularly uncertain time, as she has been living in Jordan at one of the world’s largest refugee camps, since leaving Syria with her family in 2013. Host Nuala McGovern has a conversation with her and her father about life in a refugee camp during the pandemic. We also hear why Tanzania is denying its people are dying from Covid-19; and how sniffer dogs in Finland can be trained to detect the virus among passengers arriving at Helsinki airport - with unprecedented success.

1:06.6	world. So I want to now take you to the Zachary refugee camp in Jordan and to meet Tazni.
1:13.6	She's just graduated from university and has her future to look forward to.
1:18.4	She lives in the camp with her parents, brother and sister after arriving there from Syria
1:24.2	in 2013. My colleague Ben James spoke to Tazni and her father, Hedewi,
1:31.5	about living in one of the world's largest refugee camps during a pandemic.
1:36.9	It has about 80,000 people here. The very beginning of the camp, it was all dense,
1:44.0	and then we could change to carbons like small rooms made of metal.
1:51.0	So we as a family, we have about five rooms, and we arrange them to make a house.
1:58.1	Now, people who live in Zachary have been through a lot in their lives. You've had to deal with
2:05.2	leaving your homes. In the past year, how high has the coronavirus pandemic been on the list of
