I think it's getting too important.

I had to fill you in on exactly what's going on.

Only a few thoughts about it right here on Cooper Stuff.

Hey everybody, welcome back to Cooper Stuff. I know it's been a while. I hope that you are doing good. Okay, we don't talk much about Bethel on the show. There are plenty of other podcasts that cover a lot of these kinds of things. NAR, which is NAR, which stands for the new apostolic Reformation. We haven't talked much, maybe not at all ever on the show about that.

Other people are doing it. That wasn't exactly my lane. But we're going to have to talk about

what's going on now. I want to share a few thoughts with you. The reason is is because Bethel is so

influential and is so worldwide influential, by the way. I would say Bill Johnson, he is what they

would call the apostle over Bethel and Chris Valaton, who they would call the prophet over

Bethel. Now, obviously, this is in the charismatic world. So if you're not familiar with that,

you're probably like, what in the world's going on? But I hope that a lot of you are aware of this sort of controversy. New Apostolic Reformation, NAR churches believe in modern

day apostles and prophets. So there's lots of intersecting things. I want to say a few things.

Not all charismatics believe in modern day apostles and prophets. Some do, some don't. So just because you,

just because you're charismatic doesn't mean that you believe in the NAR movement, etc.

I, not only have I not talked about NAR on the show, I have also talked about gifts of the

spirit, continuationism versus cessationism.

Is that something we've talked a lot about at all, actually?

The reason we have to talk about it is because Bethel music became so ubiquitous.
