Okay, as a lot of people know, and I've seen some comments as well, people have been bringing up what is going on in Nigeria with Christians. There's all sorts of stuff out there, and I will

confess that I am quite ignorant about the subject, but I care, just like a lot of you guys care.

And long story short, we've got a really cool guest on who I did not know until we booked

this interview. We've only spoken for about three

minutes prior to the interview, but I think this is going to be very, very interesting. And a lot

of people want to know what's going on. So we're welcome to the show for the first time, Mike Arnold.

Mike, why don't you tell us who you are and kind of like why you're here and then we're going to jump in.

I am just a country boy from the hill country of Texas,

recently former mayor of the city of Blanco, a little small town here.

I'm a missionary.

I've been called to Africa since 2010, 16 trips, mostly extended trips,

but all over the country. Starting in 2019, stumbled into what's called an IDP camp. It's a refugee.

It's internally displaced person in the middle of their modern capital city.

And nothing could prepare you for what's there.

Sewage ditches, hand-built shampies, just packed with people, good people that are not there by their own choice, they're victims.
