Mad Men, the AMC cable network's new show about the advertising industry in the 1960s, doesn't debut until July 19th.

But it's already looking a little shaky.

You see, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey is sponsoring Mad Men in a product integration deal that has the show promoting JD both on and off the screen.

Like, say, when a young ad exec is thoroughly souced at his bachelor party, he gets visibly shall act on Jack Daniels.

Last week, the Consumer Watchdog Group Commercial Alert filed a complaint with the trade association for distilled spirits,

alleging that Jack Daniels sponsorship of Mad Men violates its code,
