How are you doing, Denise? I'm okay. How are you doing? I'm doing well. We were talking before we started recording about an evening out I had and how it demonstrates how difficult it can be sometimes to

befriend an empath and know our quirks in our different ways and so I thought I would start by just sharing with you

my weird evening out.

I would love to hear this.

Okay, so I have this new friend. She just moved to the neighborhood and she's super nice and she asked if I wanted to go out to dinner and I said, sure, that'd be great. And she said, okay, I'll drive. So what are you thinking there when someone says, I'll drive?

Oh, danger, danger, Will Robinson.

Red flag, red flag.

Yeah, because there's no escape clause, right?

Right, exactly.

So I said, okay, that's great.

The day of, she texted and said,

you still okay for tonight, I said yes she texted and said, you still okay for tonight.

I said yes, and she said, great,

I'll pick you up at such and such time.

Okay, that's fine.

And then about an hour beforehand,

I invited a coworker, is that okay? Oh oh so now you're going in someone

else's car with a stranger and the new friend yes. Oh oh this is starting to

make my stomach hurt a little bit.

I was like, what do I do?
