Summary

August 20th marked the 31st anniversary of the murders of businessman Jose Menendez and his wife Kitty in Beverly Hills, California, and Emmy Award winning reporter Robert Rand joined me on my live stream, to give us an inside look at his 31 years covering the case.

He culminated his decades of work into the Menendez Murders: The Shocking Untold Story of the Menendez Family and the Killings That Stunned the Nation, his 2018 novel which was the primary source for Law and Order: True Crime: The Menendez Murders, an 8 part miniseries which aired on NBC in 2017. You can also find him on ABC 20/20’s “Truth and Lies: The Menendez Brothers” and Dateline NBC’s “Unthinkable: The Menendez Murders,” as well as ‘How It Really Happened’ with Hill Harper on HLN.
