I'm Monica Perez here with my co-host Brad Binkley.

We are truly excited to speak to our guest today. He is professor emeritus of the

Department of Journalism and Communication at Bowling Green State University and of Cal

Poly Pomona and he currently teaches at CSU Channel Islands.

His research interests are international communication,

national and international news agencies,

media imperialism, and books include media imperialism, continuity and change,

mainstream media and the Ukraine crisis, which is the book that made me a huge fan,

Hollywood and the CIA, which I'm sure Brad's all over,

and the most recent work of his conflict propaganda

in Syria, narrative battles.

I actually also have a whole stack of more books

than just that from here.

So I, we're just here for an hour and I could literally spend hours on each of your books. They're just so dense and actually one of those things you have to some of the older stuff is I have to read the same sentence three times.

I absolutely adore the Ukraine book because practically no,

and write what was what in my research, found all that like that's not hidden.
