| 0:58.8 | on the hour, in the hour, a lot of changes coming at you. And that uncertainty is piling up. |
| 1:05.7 | And it creates a snowball effect on how we think, and how we act, and how we feel. |
| 1:13.8 | You know, I'm reminded of one of my favorite movies, a movie entitled The Great Debaters, |
| 1:19.6 | about a small college, African American college, it had a world-class debate team. |
| 1:25.8 | And this debate team was so good, they were competing against the best of the best of the best. |
| 1:33.2 | And one young person on this team, a young man had a relationship with his father that was |
| 1:39.9 | tension-filled to say the least. Now, this young man was a good student, very bright, |
| 1:46.5 | but he became so enamored with the debate team, the act of the debates themselves, |
| 1:53.2 | that he couldn't focus on his schoolwork. And so there's a scene that pops to the top of my |
| 1:58.9 | mind right now, where the young man and his father are arguing the father's upset at what he |
