Amen. Hey church, welcome to Amen podcast where we preach the good news of Jesus Christ and how it

applies to everyday life. I'm Look at Lana, your host, and today my husband, Alex, is preaching

about contentment. We're looking at Matthew chapter 5, verses 27 through 32. I'll go ahead and read those verses and then Alex will take it from

there. But before we do, a couple announcements. We need a, we need a new car because we do not fit,

not this truck that we're in right now on the side of the road. Welcome. This is our podcast truck, but we have

another car that's a family car that we just have too many kids. It's getting tight. Yeah. And we

want to be fruitful and multiply. We have decided that we want to keep on having children,

but we just can't fit. And so if you could pray for us, we're trying to get an old,

older, low mileage, land cruiser

so that we can all fit and all go together, not have to take two cars everywhere we go.

And so if God puts it on your heart to give us your old grandma's old land cruiser,

that'd be great.

so helpful and so amazing. And with that said, let's get into it. Verse 27, the laws of Moses said,

you shall not commit adultery. But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye

has already committed adultery with her

in his heart. So if your eye, even if it is your best eye, causes you to lust, gouge it out,

and throw it away. Better for a part of you to be destroyed than for all of you to be cast into hell.

And if your hand, even your right hand, causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away.

Better that than find yourself in hell. The law of Moses says, if anyone wants to be rid of his wife,

he can divorce her merely by giving her a letter of dismissal. But I say that a man who divorces his

wife except for fornication,
