May we realize the value of taking you seriously and reading your word with attention to detail and understanding that you are speaking to us in this generation, now, in this 21st century.

Show us we pray an understanding of how our money might be used wisely and well when invested in spiritual things, break us from the habit of fear or the long-standing

stenchiness that has marked our lives.

And may we know the joy of living open-handedly before you,

because of a relationship with you made possible through Christ.
