The last vestige of good leadership in Harris County in an executive position are that we have some good constables, not all, but some.

Harris County crime and Harris County Administration as relates to criminal justice. The guy that I've gone to

more than anyone else, Ted Heep. They do a great job. Their deputies love

them. They're constables deputies as opposed to the sheriff's deputies. And just to make

this clear, the sheriff's department is the countywide law enforcement agency

The constables each have a precinct just as a Harris County Commissioner has a precinct

Where they are responsible.

They're the law enforcement king of that precinct.

Their job is to take care of crime in that precinct.
