Position as an attempt to rally minority voters,

that we got to get the state out of H.I.S.D.

They've gone after Miles who's doing a great job the Houston Chronicles in on this. You know the teachers

aren't happy. The principals, nobody's happy. You know what nobody's happy?

Because he's coming in and saying,

damn it, these are our kids. We're gonna have standards. You gotta show up to work.

You gotta deliver. These kids gotta learn.

Well I will tell you, H-I-S-D has made a turn for the good and I will have miles on as soon as we can

connect with him. I don't know the man, but I have nothing but praise for the job he's done.

And I will tell you, people ask me how I can be in a

good mood about how bad things are. I see wonderful things happening in our

community. I give you a great example. Victor Perez out in

K. D. I. S. D. D. D. D. S. D. D. D. D.

A mommy and daddy party and they're instituting reasonable expectations and policies

that are all child and parent-centric. Spring Branch Independent School District, which has one part

memorial and one part sort of north of 45, that district wasn't sure if it wanted to be H-I-S-D or a great school district.

It was kind of caught in between because geographically is kind of caught in between.

And there were parents who got involved. I got a call from

Chris Ernest and he was running for a school board. And I said Chris you're

just the kind of guy that won't run because the process is so dirty and so brutal. I'd coached against
