Welcome to this bonus episode of our History Extra conspiracy series. A few weeks ago, we released an interview with the investigative journalist Gerald Posner, author of Case Closed, Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of JFK, and it was all about the conspiracy theories surrounding

the JFK assassination. Well, as we expected, we had a lot of responses from you all, and a good

deal more questions. So, we've decided to get Gerald back in to answer a few of those questions,

Okay, so that's enough preamble.

Let's jump into the interview.

I began by asking Gerald a question from Franchise 505 on Instagram, which was, what is

the wildest conspiracy theory that he's heard about the JFK assassination?

Boy, I'll tell you, there's very good competition for the wildest theory I've heard about the JFK assassination. Boy, I'll tell you, there's very good competition for the wildest theory. I've

heard about the JFK assassination. I think that my personal favorite is probably that the president

was killed by the driver of the presidential limousine, who was a secret service member, that that driver turned around, which he does on the home movie of the assassination.

You can see the driver turning around to look at the president after the second shot.

He hears the shot that there's motion in the back of the car and looks at the president.

Now, there's a frame, a still frame of the home movie in which it appears that there's a glint of light for that from the area of the driver's hand.

And there are a number of people that have concluded over the years the driver had a small revolver in his hand that was basically hidden, shot the president from the front,
