When we open the word of God, we're opening the mind of God and we're opening the heart of God. One of the things that should happen when you study the Bible is you start

thinking like God thinks and

feeling like God feels. This is why Scripture is so vital in the life of a Christian every day.

I can't live a single day without trying to get the mind of God. I can't live a single day

without bringing my heart in tune with God's heart. I must pause long enough

to consider. One of the things that I hope grows out of our study of the scripture

together every day is that it's a pause. It's a C-Lop moment where you just kind of hit the

pause button, wherever you are, wherever you may be listening,

and say, let me consider my life today.

Let me consider the Lord today.

Let me consider where I am and where God wants me to be.

Well, today we come to two verses that make us consider, literally.
