Welcome to the movement of the Holy Family.

I am back in my favorite place. I am back home with my Habibi and Teresa

the Great. This is the seventh day of our preparation for consecration or renewal of our

consecration to marry and so we are on the seventh deadly sin of lust.

And let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Lust is to use another person sexually to get what you want.

The word sex comes from the Latin word sexist, meaning a portion or a part rather than the whole.

The Italian word, Shisho, means to be divided and the Latin word

is cinderi which comes or which gives us our word scissors meaning to

split or cut into two halves. This is all to say that sex comes from the

root idea that we have this deep desire to be united because

we were designed by God to be one. When God saw Adam he said it is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helpmate.

Therefore the desire to be united sexually is a good desire.

Sex is the desire to close the division and be united in love and

marriage. The problem is that in our fallen human state the passion of love has turned into lust, the desire to use one

another sexually to get what we want or what we think will make us happy or whole. Men tend to use love to get sex and women tend to use sex to get love.

But in both cases we we aren't loving, but using.
