This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be with a lot of friends at Holy Spirit Catholic Church,

thanks to the hospitality of Father Rick Halverson,

and we are gathered together to pray the rosary.

And we are drawing closer to the day of our consecration to Mary.

We've been walking through the Ser sermon on the Mount, taking on the mind of Christ.

And so let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call the mind right now all the people that we've promised to pray for

all those that we're concerned about and especially all of our loved ones who are

far away from Christ.

Whoever those people are that our need that you love and care for,

there are thousands at this moment praying for them through this Rosary.

At the center of the sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapter 6, Jesus teaches that if we get our loves in the right order, then we will be happy

and God will provide everything we need.

Jesus said, do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where malls and worms destroy themselves, and thieves break in and steal, but store up treasures for yourselves in heaven where neither moth nor worms destroy and thieves

cannot break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. But humans are a complicated creature who

need many good things to be fulfilled and happy. The problem is that we are tempted

to get our loves out of order and we become attached to the wrong things.

So we need a hierarchy of good things.

Superficial, profound, and divine goods.
