Michigan women's water polo is in good hands.

It's new hands under head coach Cassie Churnside.

But with a 22 and 9 overall record, 9 and 1 in conference play,

they're going into the championships as a 2-seat.

I'm excited today because I get a chance to talk to one of the newest members of the Michigan coaching staff,

and that is Cassie Churnside, took over the water polo head coaching

job last August. Cassie, thanks for joining me. You've been on campus now for about eight months.

You've got a season under your belt. What's it been like for you being in Ann Arbor?

It's been cool. It's been really cool. I came right in, football season started, so I immediately just got bombarded with

Go Blue everything.

I'm eight months in, man.

I've drank the Kool-Aid.

I'm fully here.

I fully get it.
