Michigan women's lacrosse. Off to a great 4 and 0 start with wins against Detroit,

Mercy, Arizona State and Cincinnati. But sprinkled in there, a top five win against the

University of Notre Dame. We always love it when we get a chance to beat up on those Irish.

Well, as promised, I now have the head coach of the Michigan's women's lacrosse team, and that's

Hannah Nielsen.

And coach, first of all thanks for

joining us and second of all congratulations on the four and oh start thank you feels good um always a

fun monday and early early start of the week when when you're coming off a couple wins well it is and

you know not only are you coming off a couple of wins, but there's a big win in the

mix, the top five win against Notre Dame. This past weekend, it was Cincinnati. You got 20

goals. What's been the biggest surprise, if there's a surprise, but what's been the biggest

surprise to you this year from from in regards to your team?

I wouldn't say I'm surprised.

I think it's just been really nice to see that we're trending in the right direction.

I think I've always known this team is good even last year and we were held up by a couple of COVID pauses and I was really hard to sort of get going.

But this preseason, the girls have been working so, so hard.
