Well, Michigan has the number one hockey team in the country, and it's been an exciting season,

and one of the mainstays has been a freshman.

He burst onto the scene at the start of the year, missed a little bit time due to injury,

but we're so happy he's back.

Jack Ivan Kovic, the super freshman, joins me next on Conquering Heroes.

Jack, first of all, thanks for joining me. What's this year

been like for you? You guys have had a ton of top competition, and right now, you guys are

number one in the country. Yeah, I mean, it's been awesome. I think ever since I stepped foot on campus,

I mean, everyone's been so welcoming.

I mean, the team, I think, is the closest team I've ever been on.

And that shows, you know, our success.

Everyone plays for the team.

Everyone wants each other to succeed.

And I think that definitely helps our chances of, you know, finishing number one and going in advance,

like getting into the Big Ten playoffs, getting into the tournament.

I think just being closer the team is going to be the reason why we succeed.

It's interesting you talk about this being the closest team that you've been a part of

because a number of transfers a lot of impact freshmen how have you guys been able to develop
