Michigan softball is the defending two-time big 10 tournament title winners as well as two trips to the NCAA tournament looking to make it three straight in both occurrences.

What's in store for this year as you enter your fourth season as head coach?

Well, every year is a little bit different, John.

And so that's what makes this industry and my career so fulfilling, right? I get a chance to be around different student

athletes year and year out with new challenges in different personalities. And yet the mission

remains the same. Like we are here to pursue championships and to grow people up.

And we've done a little bit of that over the past few years.

And that's what our mission is again.

So we are working hard at it.

We are within a month of the start of the 2026 campaign.
