Michigan women's golf team is coming off a record-setting performance at the Chattanooga Classic.

Well, it was a great performance down in Chattanooga, and I want to talk to the head coach,

and that's Jan Dowling of Michigan

women's golf program. Jan, first of all, congratulations, and what did you see from your team

that provided such a tremendous performance at the Chattanooga Classic?

Yeah, it was a great week for us. We've kind of, we've got, um, we've kind of had some up and down

performances, you know, it's kind of, kind of joking. We're like Jekyll and Hyde a little bit. Um,

uh, you know, we went from finishing second at Augusta to finishing outside the top 10 at Georgia,

uh, both great fields.

But it was showing that we have a lot of potential and that we do have a lot of firepower and went to Chattanooga.

And it was an interesting scenario for us

because we were without one of our top two players,

Haley Borja, who is that, I guess, the National Women's Dam, which was a whole

other experience there for our team last week. So that was new. So we had a young player in the

lineup in Mara Janice, who hadn't been in the lineup since the first tournament of the spring. And

it was so cool to see how the whole team stepped out.

There was a lot of firepower from some of our senior leader, Monnet Chun.
