American Abigail Idan, age 4, was returned to her family 50 days after Hamas murdered her parents and took her hostage. Abigail made it home just in time for her fourth birthday last Friday. When asked about the release of 4-year-old American hostage, President Biden said, "I wish I were there to hold you." Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of killing George Floyd, was seriously injured in a stabbing attack at the facility where he is currently serving his sentences. On Saturday morning, ABC News reported that Chauvin is in "stable" condition and is expected to survive his injuries. Utah Senator Mitt Romney, a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump, expressed to CBS News' Norah O'Donnell his willingness to vote for certain Democrats over Trump. Romney's consistent opposition to Trump, including two impeachment votes, has fueled speculation, suggested by his biographer, that he might endorse President Joe Biden in a future election, highlighting the enduring tension between Romney and the former president.
