All right, so most Wednesdays, we have a How I Lead segment where we interview random individuals

around the world. These aren't just random random these are children of God obviously

but you know callings that we touch on different callings and an interview

individuals serving in these callings and say hey how do you lead how do you go

about it we don't claim that you're the expert, but how are you doing it?

And every once in a while I'd like to insert an episode that isn't necessarily focused on a calling or

interviewing somebody who's serving that calling but maybe a resource and I had the

opportunity to connect with Chandler Rogers he reached out to me about an app

project that he's working on he's a student down at BYU and so I said you know what

why don't we get on a call we'll record a

conversation and we'll see how it goes and I was just so impressed by this

app and what he's doing it's called the relay app you can see more information about

it at join relay dot app. And this way

it has to stimulate connection community whether it's a addiction recovery group or just a group of friends, a band of brothers, a band of sisters,

and I was just really impressed by it. Now in this interview that I'm about to play, he does, you know, it's a a video interview so he does walk us through the app but you can go to our YouTube channel or we'll link to it in the show notes if you want to have a visual of that but you'll get the gist of it as he goes through it and talks through it but I'm going to jump into this app and I think there's so many ways that we can use this and maybe I'll discuss that in the outro at the end but here's my interview with Chandler Rogers, the creator of the Relay app. Today I get to chat with Chandler Rogers who has reached out to me recently about an

app that he's put together and I think I'm always interested in new resources and things out there especially for leaders or those that that leaders help so

Chandler what got you what started the idea of getting into doing an app where is the story

yeah no it begins back in high school and with my personal experience like many other

you know people in the church I was exposed to pornography at an early age and kind of before I really understood I guess what was going on in those early years like was kind of trapped and hadn't talked to really anyone about it. So for a long time

was just kind of struggling in isolation like so many people do to work through that issue and

and I grew up in a very faithful family, great parents who you know always

taught us about Jesus Christ and so I feel like you know growing up I had this desire
