on Tuesday night, it was not clear what the actual impact in terms of tsunamis would be. There

had been alerts for as far away as the west coast of the United States

from from Washington to California. And thankfully, it looks like the worst case scenario was averted.

Yes. In many cases, we saw like one foot, two foot, three foot tsunamis. But bear in mind,

you know, for those of you who are just like, oh, I would have, you know, like happily hung out in the water there. What was the concern about? We should note that a

three-foot tsunami is very different than a three-foot wave, both in speed, but also how much

water it moves. That a three-foot wave, you know, you can splash around on the beach.

A three-foot tsunami, that can move enough water to, you know, push cars at different directions.

So one of the reasons why they were so cautious overnight on Tuesday warning, basically everyone surrounding the Pacific Ocean.

the Canada, to South America, to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China. We're all very much

warning about this. Keep in mind that earthquake that happened off the coast of Russia there,

off of Comcha, the peninsula there, the sixth strongest earthquake ever recorded on Earth.

That's how powerful this quake was. And it also

moved in a way that moved water that led to tsunami. There's different types of earthquakes.

This is the one where basically the ocean floor moves in a way that creates tsunamis.

So everyone breathing aside of relief there. There's a lot of concern, particularly in a Hawaii
